It's not like Bit.ly is the only URL shortener out there. There are many more with advanced features.
Could you pass on a couple of examples of others to try out please?

bitly is hackable enough for the power crowd honestly, it's not as bad as people make out. Google "single click bitly" and you'll see how you can restore some of the old functionality.
