I love the idea of delaying your RSS feed a little. For a lot of WordPress blogs that use a ping service, you'd only need to delay the RSS by a couple of hours at most to give Google time to crawl & index the new content - hardly an inconvenience.
Avinsh Kaushik talked about Tynt back in 2010, it was clever then and I don't think it has lost any gloss since http://www.kaushik.net/avinash/viral-social-sentiment-mobile-data-web-analytics-tools/
I prevented content theft by giving it away using a Creative Commons license. This is not a solution for everybody but you have to understand that the Web is about giving away content for free. For SEO content theft is only a problem because of Google as it forbids "duplicates". Otherwise it would be great that your ideas get spread far and wide even without the links.
