    Yes, I realize it's already in the cloud. But in this interview, Rand discusses the idea of a new hybrid cloud model that doesn't live on Amazon's systems. This would increase reliability and perhaps reduce cost. And might, perhaps, pave the way for the tech to move entirely in-house (a la Google and Bing). Still, sorry for the poor headline on this post; I'd love to go back and edit it if I could! The details he shares about cost are eye-opening. Those monthly updates run up to $300K. Information may *want* to be free... but it's important to remember that it isn't!
