In this post, Brad Feld of Foundry challenges CEOs at entrepreneurial organizations to encourage their employees to "Be the CEO" of their own jobs - in other words, do the things that need doing. He uses several examples from Mark Pincus, CEO at Zynga.

And he poses these wonderful questions: "Do you get rewarded for taking risks and succeeding (or failing) like your CEO does?  If not, would you be more effective if you did?"

Brad limits the scope of these questions to entrepreneurial organizations, but I think they can hold true for those of us outside the entrepreneur world as well.

What do you think: CAN you be the CEO of your own job?
