Nice! Actionable! Awesome. :)
^ What Jonathon said. :-)
True, true guys. As much as I like the big posts/guides it is always nice to have smaller posts that pick out the gems - nice work John by the way!
Thanks Wayne, appreciate it! Just wanted to give some useful functions for everybody. Would it be helpful for me to dig deeper into the VLOOKUP in another post? That's one that is SUPER useful, yet most people struggle with.
Hey John - no problem! I think you could get a nice little series going with Excel functions and examples of them being used in real world SEO situations. I would say that VLOOKUP would be there at the top for some deeper digging.
Definitely John. VLOOKUP has been on the top of my list to understand its functionality much better. I fall under that "most people" category.
This is pretty convenient stuff. Thanks a lot. I think there are even more uses you can do some of these steps like redirects and so on.
You can't beat some nifty actionable tips for Excel :)
Loved the PROPER function! I always consider Mike's Excel guide http://www.distilled.net/excel-for-seo/ the Excel bible/guide/ultimate resource, but must say I had never seen this function before, yet I definitel wish I had before. I could have saved SOOO much time!
