Who else posts reviews on Google Plus? (yes albeit seldom)
I do from time to time. Have some people in my circles who do (and are not related to SEO or marketing).
But good point - it's not something people do on regular basis. There are a lot of things Google needs to "fix" in local space.
Meh... I think there is more of a correlation between those who work at Google tend to use their products more regularly than the average user as opposed to trying to spin the subject like Googlers are manipulating Local reviews. I find nothing wrong with Goolge themselves promoting their products. The cynicism derives solely from the fact Google is such a large piece of internet property with so many products and services.
The article is still very interesting to read though. Enjoy case studies that use data to tell a story.
Right, plus (I forgot to mention that before) how many Googlers are in SF, NY or Seattle... Now compare this data from Seattle with data from Portland, OR or SF vs. San Diego.
It's like looking at data for the usage of Bing in Seattle/Redmond/Bellevue area...
