What's weird is that the Google search People and Pages box rankings and the People and Pages listings in Google+'s internal search don't match up, even though the former has a link to "see more" that clicks through to the latter. For example. in a non-logged-in Google search for "social media" Scott Monty is in the rotation of people that show up. But if you click "see more," he is nowhere to be seen in the first page of results in the corresponding Google+ search, even though most of the other people and pages are.
Yeah, that's very poor user experience IMHO.
Right, that's because these are still curated lists. Granted the source list is generated through some sort of algorithm but then it's clearly culled and edited.
Wow, I'm already at #80 for [seo]. Last time I checked a few weeks ago I was #120. World domination here I come! ;-)
