commit: 6b2ca8a - #414 (2014-03-05 12:54:44 -0500)
I know the G+ numbers are probably a bit inflated, because Google has been connecting G+ with YouTube, search, and even maps.
Regardless of this, lately I've been seeing much more high quality content on G+ compared to Twitter, so I'm optimistic about the future of G+.
I've noticed a bunch of junk accounts being added to G+ lately.. not sure if that is assoicated or not.
Probably those who never really had intent to use G+ but, as Ville pointed out above, somewhat semi-automatically had a G+ account due to using other connected Google services.
I'm also very optimistic. I've sent 1,000 Google Community invitations with personalized messages... and over 300 have responded by joining said G+ community. There are specks of sharing and community here and there.
I love G+, but they practically force it on you whilst signing up for their other products. That headline is gonna get someone a nice pat on the back over at Mountain View tomorrow morning.
