Finding variations of long tail keywords is as easy as checking out Google Suggestions: that's a great tip that is easy to remember and implement. You sum up examples of keyword tools nicely plus you give great ways to come up with ideas about one's niche. I couldn't stop laughing from your "quick review of how you shouldn’t go about doing a niche research." This is the best not so obvious advice on how not to pick a niche: "Choosing a niche based on your own interests is like ordering everyone’s meal for them at a restaurant." LOL my parents were the type to bring me to a restaurant and then order for me as well LOL This advice really stands out because many affiliate marketing forums will tell people to pick a niche based on personal preferences and you just pointed out how that could flop. In the future you might wish to include these well known affiliate programs: Commission Junction, Linkshare, Shareasale, Google Affiliate Network, and Amazon. Thanks for the fantastic article and thanks for explaining long tail keywords so well.
