wow, this will change everyyhing
what a great way for Google to get even more signups
Google's monopoly is getting quite irritating.
This is great, Iove how it picks up content on Google+ for old posts too...
Great ways to give away your content to Google for free.
If you liked that, you'll probably like this: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/116093364449067272560 a nascent Community devoted just to G+ Comments.
The inclusion of the G+ iframe hack at the moment isn't perfect - remember this is an unofficial hack - because unlike other platforms, as a comment moderator or site owner you have NO comment moderation powers.
People you may have blocked will also still enjoy ability to comment on your site and more importantly, because of the threading and the default way it has ticked "share to Google" there is the high probability that viewers of the comments in the Google Plus stream do not see the context of the conversation.
Nonetheless, for some sites, it's an attractive option.
As to Tad's observation, at the end of the day whose content is it? - the commentor's using Google Plus or the site owners' enticing them to otherwise leave a comment on a native Wordpress platform which less people feel inclined to do?
