great deck......but why class this in SEO as a category here and not Video?
interesting, thank you
So much great info from Distilled lately about getting in to video. Better get to work on that!
Agreed. I don't think this post on Distilled's blog made it here, but it's phenomenal - http://www.distilled.net/blog/video/video-seo-tactics-to-get-ranked/ Learned a lot from this one.
Awesome post. I love that you incorporated the export info too. Good call. I see a lot of people struggle with that info.
Dont be afraid to find niche websites and upload your videos there. Lots of video websites on the internet besides YouTube and Vimeo. You might find some that convert viewers better or give you dofollow links.
I really loved the slide (#28?) that showed the difference in the timing of the emotional response of the reader/viewer when comparing them reading text, and when watching the content in a video form. It was a real "a-ha!" moment for me.
+1 that - the "emotional" value of video can't be underestimated. I'd take 100 video views over 1,000 pageviews any day.
Epistemology FTW :). I think you need to understand how individuals appraise content before you can begin to work out how it should look and feel. Thanks guys, glad you're all finding value from the presentation.
Awesome deck and your short, quick tip videos are very cool. I wish the U.S. was a little more open, though. I feel like we would get ripped apart presenting that even though it is quality. Great job.
Anybody can make videos aka screencasts without any budget at all.
Great slides covering various benefits of using video in your marketing efforts. Did miss some details on Notoriety, Inbound Traffic/Conversions & Links. What I also missed in the slides is a part covering how to use User Generated Video to generate more traffic & increase conversions.
