I'm with the first commenter below the original article: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/visitor-social-network-login-status-google-analytics#jtc169823
I've added it to my to do list - but if anyone in the meantime wants to get on it then all the better. :)
Hi Tad Chef, Your wish was my command. Based on the blog post we wrote a while ago on only tracking Facebook users (http://devblog.springest.com/how-to-find-out-if-your-users-are-on-facebook) it was our goal to support this. It took an evening developing the WordPress plugin, but it could be found here (for free): http://www.springest.co.uk/social-analytics Would love to know your opinion on this, what we could improve or the bugs you may find! Lets get the SEO community a step further! Thanks in advance!
I played with your demo, and just got an email from Facebook about a "suspicious login attempt" - I took a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/qSOdzVUb67 Apparently, the request from your server is triggering Facebook's phishing filter. :)
