commit: 6b2ca8a - #414 (2014-03-05 12:54:44 -0500)
We're experimenting with our own official "Inbound Digest". We'll send you the best articles, the best tools and the best discussions each week to your inbox, together with cool news and announcements like "We've got an AMA with Her Majesty the Queen this April 1st". (We haven't got her.). (yet).
To start, I want to keep this pretty simple; just a list of links each with brief summaries, as well as any Inbound.org news (upcoming 'Ask Me Anything' interviews).
If you guys really take to it, invest more time and developer resources into something amazing, totally personalised and super-useful. If it fails, we'll learn what we can from it, then maybe wrap it up. This is an experiment.
What time and day do you want your Inbound Digest?
Lots of votes for Saturday mornings. Guess we can go with that :-)
I also believe this will be the best time.
Saturday mornings gets my vote.
Same, GMT time though...
Awesome idea here. Personally, the time doesn't really matter as much the content itself. I'm thinking things like most up-voted articles this week, most commented, most active discussions etc, along with announcements like AMAs.
Go forth and digest
I second what Harris said above. Also to add in - it would be very cool to select from a variety of different digests, from the different categories. Cheers!
Yeah, I like that - or maybe start with the generic mix of topics by default, but have the ability to build a custom digest with the topics that are most relevant.
Definitely in the pipeline, but for starters and proof of concept, a "house list" with a single, simple roundup.
Great...I'm in (y).
Monday Morning, 6.30am GMT is good for me...
Just joined here and love to see experiments like this, I signed up!
My vote's for Friday.
Friday sounds good to me too - could make the long afternoon go a lot quicker!
Good stuff! Signed up. End of the week in the morning would be good for me. When are you planning on sending out the first one?
How do i sign up ?
Click the headline link at the top, the same as an article.
Interested! Saturday mornings are great for sure.
Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning.
Saturday Morning is great
I'd love a Sunday Morning email. A nice replacement to the Sunday Paper :)
