Ooof. I hadn't really intended for this to be read by anybody other than a smaller group of friends. For anyone reading this and thinking, "Yeesh what a _______!" (fill with your own creative variation of jerk), understand that this is a work of satire intended to entertain - it isn't intended to be a heavy-handed lambasting of everyone in the industry.
"I hadn't really intended for this to be read by anybody other than a smaller group of friends."
:( - you didn't have to put it so bluntly.
It's a good thing I have a soft spot for cynics and devilishly-good-looking-people. Mix in the fact that a lot of this (while satirical) is funny because it's true, and you get a digital upvote of endorsement.
Thanks Tom. While in the past I've guest-posted for people expecting that it would be shared on a place like Inbound, I was quite surprised to see this here and a little bit nervous on account of those that don't really know me might just see this as another "ZOMG SEO IS BAD!" posts. I AM glad, though, that you said "Funny because it's true". Always the goal.
