Great article, but John's title is a bit misleading. I'd have preferred the alternative title John himself suggested...
Thanks for the feedback, Daniel. I wasn't sure if the second one (the one you prefer) would go over as well/be as well understood, so I opted for the easier one. Maybe this is a lesson for me :-)

My comment wasn't meant as an attack at all & I really enjoyed the article.
I'm obviously aware that you can produce content for smaller businesses in general. However, it is common to see examples online of much larger businesses producing content and more often than not smaller businesses are never the focus of articles pointing out how to do it.
I was just trying to get a discussion going that might appeal to a broader audience, specifically an audience of Distilled blog readers who aren't an agency servicing large businesses or a big business with a lot of opportunity to create content like a national newspaper.
Sorry if the comment came across the wrong way, it wasn't my intention at all.
