Do you really think 35% use blogger? I would of said wordpress has a much wider distribution?
Anybody that is smart and tech savvy uses Wordpress, but there are a TON of people that still use Blogger because it's just known as the go-to platform to get something setup and running in minutes.
Yeah I suppose so but I still would have through that self hosted wordpress would trump blogger for the most part.
Would have even said wordpress.com > blogger
I was surprised by that as well. Also surprised that Tumblr was so low; you'd think that Tumblr would have passed Blogger by now.
This was surprising to me as well... maybe they're not counting self-hosted?
True dat! Blogger is for the people who's target audience is their family. I put up a blogger site so that I didn't have to talk to my family all the time. I just sent out a link with the message: "Don't call me anymore. If you want to know what is going on in my life...go here."
I hate the internet some times ^^
