This sounds counter-intuitive I'd argue.
That's part of the reason it struck my interest. I'd be curious to see a more in depth study on it.
Test it out and see! Over 90% of pages are seeing text posts reach more than people organically than photos. Disclosure: I'm the author / guy who pulled and analyzed all this data...
I apologize if this was mentioned in the post, but were these done in varying niches?
Yes- the data was from 3,000 posts from 30 pages. The pages were selected randomly, and spanned from 10,000 to 10,000,000 fans on Facebook.
