Inbound gets a great mention. Great article to get your team of internet marketers who aren't as active on social... to get active - especially if you believe brand stewardship isn't the task of just one department, but shared across the company.
Awesome post. There are lots of great tools out there but none better than RSS in my opinion. It can be as powerful as you make. One of my favorite ways to find new stuff is to subscribe to RSS feeds from Google News. Now that Google Alerts RSS is done, this is the next best way to get alerts really fast.
Feedly + Buffer have completely changed the way I share content across different channels (both my personal Twitter and my company's, and our Facebook and LinkedIn accounts). At some point it became a chore to find and share interesting content, until I realised that I already read *heaps* of quality content every day. If that content is interesting to me, there's a fair chance it will also be interesting to our users.
Great article. One that may deserve to be in the article is http://topsy.com/, we've been using it to find infographics on the web. It's working quite well so far.
I've just discovered topsy recently Neil, finding it awesome for viral topics.
