    Best. Title. Ever.

Ha, I loved Dr. Pete's emphasis on diversity for sustainability. What do you think makes for sustainable SEO?

Isn't it? I honestly thought it was a typo when I saw it in my Twitter feed. Definitely caught my eye (while Top 5, Top 63 and Top 484 posts might not have done)!

So, the tip here is to think long term.. Think inbound...and stop thinking about shortcuts to attain success.

This would of been _amazing_ advice about 8 months ago. Still great but a lot of people have already been punished badly for lack of diverse anchor text/traffic etc and unfortuantely for some it's too late.

Am I the only one that was really let down by this post?  Maybe its because this was a no brainer by month 2 of 2012.  Anyone who was not doing this by Q3 of '12 I am doubtful they made it to '13 in this industry.

Hi Julian. While I know what you mean, there are still a fair few SEOs (I know anyway) who still aren't diversifying enough. I guess that maybe it's aimed more at them, but at the very least, at least it's a reminder/reassurance to you that you've been on the right track for a while now.

This article should definitely feature as an example in one of those "How to write * SEO headlines". I actually clicked because I thought it was a typo...
