This title definitely perked me up this evening. Great post, it is really all about how to make your agency better and challenging your staff. I definitely agree with this, if all you do is throw generic template headers/print media at your designers they will get bored and go work for a more innovating agency.
Hah, I've been in the situation of the dude in the first comic (albeit it wasn't an agency) - found out on my first day at a new job that the guy who hired me quit the Friday before. It kinda sucked...
Yeah, this is pretty much why I'll never work for an agency. Being independent affords you the freedom of choice.
*Note: That's not to say I won't work /with/ an agency. Different story. I still get to hand-pick the projects to take on.
