Hi All, this is my analysis about mobile in 2013. I have predicted the future in 2013 by analyzing the data from 2012. Hope the prediction will come true at year end.
Years ahead - everyone will go for Mobile ! but we cant expect it foe 2013
Some of the predicted points may not happen in 2013, but think if in 2012, more than half of them using Facebook on a mobile device then think of 2013 December what the data might be!! The percentage of user base in desktop will be definitely decreasing in coming years.
I completely agree with your recent opinion and the mobile marketing has been playing an important role in online marketing especially e-commerce site. Now every one doing their conversions by smartphones, because it is easy to carry anywhere and we can use smart phones from everywhere.
Android has blasted past the iPhone in smartphone market share. The Exclusive Survey on iPhone and Vs Android is says the same. Most users says "features" and "platform" are the most important factors when choosing a smartphone. So if any one come up with new Mobile Operating system with tremendous "features" and "platform" these values will be reflect :)
you are completely right Dejeesh, as I noted in my blog around 56% of users are using Andriod based mobile device platforms. In future webmaster need to take steps which can make present sites to be easily used in such platforms. Finally it all depends depends upon the business & area of business concentration to decide whether site needs to mobile friendly. By 2013 end we can see a lot of ecommerce sites been changed into mobile user frienldy sites.
