I love that Google has this in Labs. It's crazy how much benefit Authorship gives to authors. You'd have to be crazy not to be using it on everything you write.
I wonder how long it's going to take for this to be a regular occurrence amongst websites with contributors. It makes me really wonder about news organizations, and if they'd even catch on to this.
Using Authorship is still rarely used in the SEO industry. Imagine the advantage you can have by using both Google Authorships as well as Author Stats!
This is only going to get bigger. Authorship is going to be integrated into everything. Just watch...soon we are going to see a custom search bar by google that allows us to search by author. It's going to be in the drop down menu that is called "more."
