Glad this is getting a few votes so far... I think the title can come across as a tad selfish on first glance, but if you really dig into the article its about focusing on about what truly matters, and only what you can really put your energy into. Since diving into SEO head first in the last 12 months, life has pulled me in many directions, and to be truly effective I've really had to try to stay focused. And you really have to be careful how much you promise. This has been an interesting balancing act for me. I know I'll come out alive - but sure is overwhelming in the middle of it. Not in a bad way necessarily, just a "how the hell am I going to get all of this done" (and "all of this" is all fun stuff) way.
I agree with most of this but I would not say "I choose to" on the phone, instead of saying "I have to send this report over to blah" I would say... "I'm sending this report over to blah" ...
