Phenomenal stuff by Jonathon Colman! I think this is something what SEO/Digital Marketing agencies should adopt!
Thanks, Moosa - apparently Google think Agile for marketing is a big deal, too, so they've talked to agencies about how to make it work. Get great, actionable tips at http://www.thinkwithgoogle.com/insights/featured/agile-creativity/
Very good job Jonathon Colman :)
I'm still a little nervous about trying to use this methodology on client work without the client buying in. In fact, I don't see how it's possible. And if you can't do it for the clients you're working on, surely that is going to derail efforts to implement the system internally? I'm hoping I've missed something obvious.
Hey Iain, I've had trouble finding agencies who write openly and specifically about their Agile Marketing process - I assume that's for competitive reasons. But if you do some searching, you'll find that there are a number of agencies that working in the Agile Marketing model who will describe in broad terms how they do it. Here are a few links to resources that can help you figure out next steps for Agile Marketing at Paligap: >>> This long slideshow does a great job of illustrating the Agile marketing process in some detail: http://www.slideshare.net/madebymany/silicon-beach-d01 >>> http://blog.hubspot.com/blog/tabid/6307/bid/13703/Get-Agile-Running-a-Marketing-Team-Like-a-Startup.aspx >>> http://contentandsocial.com/?page_id=1310 >>> http://www.agilemarketingblog.com/category/podcast/ Hope that helps!
Another good resource that just surfaced on the blog post at SEOmoz is AgencyAgile, who help agencies adopt Agile in ways that work for them. Here's an article they wrote on their process: http://agencyagile.com/bringing-agile-to-agencies/
