Very nifty reply but without touching the real issue, the cluttered ad infested interface where you have to actually search to find the real search results.
seems like his assumption is that paid search is real search. I guess he's an idealist...
This here is still a pretty search-oriented example. There are many SERPs for transactional queries e.g. ecommerce or travel where organic search is 0% above the fold. Try searching for something like hotels or electronics.
