Heh... when I saw the title, my immediate reaction was "I wonder what Jason Acidre will think of this" - only to find out that he's the subject of the article! :-)
Haha thanks Steve :)
I'm not sure it's really desirable to become the next prime SEO outsourcing destination. As I see it SEO outsourcing equals low quality, mass produced, cheap and anonymous SEO. That's why you rarely know any brand from India that does SEO because they are mostly generic "SEO India" sweatshops. Judging from the bunch of well known SEO experts from the Philippines here the quality is much higher and the people who practice SEO there have real names. So why downgrade yourself and go for the Indian model?
Great point Tad - as always. I would definitely keep my brand, and I would certainly want others who're practicing SEO here to build their own and live up to their brands. I believe that's a great lesson that everyone here can learn from. Other countries have done that mistake, so it's time to invest and work really hard on a different/long-term approach to build a far better model than the known traditional outsourcing work. I guess that's one reason that can make us really the next prime destination for SEO work - whether it's outsourced or direct B2B service providers.
