Spot on overview. Now you can look up each time who claims that "SEO is dead" and why.
SEO's not dead - if anything it's either a zombie or a phoenix! ;-) Seriously though, SEO will die if search engines die. Other than that, SEO simply evolves. I don't understand why some don't people understand this...
Sensationalist tripe, having a dig at 15 broad groups with sweeping claims. I think the real issue, and one that has been addressed many times, is that the term 'SEO' is ill defined. It's true that what SEO means to a web designer is different than what it means to a journalist or adwords marketer. Detailing why they're all 'deluded' isn't helpful, surely? An educational and entertaining infographic would be survey results of what different occupations think SEO means instead of blatantly insulting them. The infographic design is lovely, the content however...
While it's true the infographic won't develop any friendships w/ the industries it calls out, all SEOs surely have run into these roadblocks when talking w/ graphic designers, PR professionals, etc.
I cannot agree here. Being SEO for years I can see all the shades of gray and can say that Aaron is pointing out the worst in the industry to prove his own agenda/claim. I must agree with him as he tries to point out the ignorance of what the real SEO (not the vague part) is. However, one infographic cannot explain the whole complexity behind the industry and the changes. However, I am a bit on your side when it comes to black hats :)
