Do these studies discount the incidence of twitter spam accounts being created? Based on anecdotal experiences and the likes of Google Trends showing a rapid rise (x2 since Christmas) in mentions of "twitter spam" http://mmkt.in/xuq3fF I remain somewhat sceptical.
