Interesting article. Its a thin line between legitimate self-promotion and spam. "Keller relentlessly shared content from The Atlantic, frequently posting three or four articles in a single day" This is probably a bit over the top, although I don't think its particular relentless. And with a karma on 176,000, the articles can't be all that bad.
Great points. At what point does sharing stuff people like make you "spam"? I am pretty sure Matt Inman of the Oatmeal does this same thing, or did so on Reddit and etc so other people didn't get benefit from the submissions. Nobody flagged him as spam.
