How many clients did you get via Quora? How much time did you spend on Quora to get them? IMHO Quora takes so much time and effort and results ins so little business that it's useless. You have to work daily for Quora over months to gain some traction and myriads of other cool people compete with you while there are almost no real life business owners who qualify as potential clients there. Yahoo Answers is much better to get clients.

Agreed with @Tad Chef. I've spent time asking questions and answering them on Quora -- no clients. But it has increased my deal flow leading to an advisory board appointment. Quora's just too abstract from real prospecting but it's great for competitive intelligence and networking with smart people.

For certain industries Quora is great at helping generate some content ideas! I'm sure the same goes for grabbing clients, it may be great for certain industries.
