This is an old classic, but I think Screaming Frog is better and more up to date (http://inbound.org/tools/view/screaming-frog-seo-spider-tool) :)
Yea, unfortunately Xenu just hasn't grown at all over time. It's almost exactly the same as when I first used it.
Agreed - for auditing H1/Title/Description/Canonicals I use Screaming Frog, but I like to use Xenu specifically for the PDF broken link report (and perhaps a bit of nostalgia).
I agree with Geir, Screaming Frog is much better and indeed makes regular updates...
The one upside here over Screaming Frog is price - Screaming Frog licenses are both annual and limited to one desktop and one laptop per license, so not scalable for businesses that have a once-in-a-while need for crawling.
